How to use Watan Chat

Watan Chat is a live Afghan chat room where you can talk in main chat, send private messages, play games, earn coins, and climb levels. This guide explains every major feature. No login required to read it.

• Sign in as a guest for a quick look, or register for the full economy and social features.
• Ranks unlock features, from Registered basics to VIP media tools and Elite/Legend prestige.
• Coins power games and buying gem packs. Gems power gifts, shop styles, passes, and calls.
• Watch for random room events: Speed Booster (double message coins) and the Watan Treasure box.
• Use the search bar above or the topic buttons to jump to any section.

Your rank controls which features you can use. Staff ranks exist for moderation but are not covered here. This guide focuses on community member ranks only.

• Guest: Browse chat and view profiles. Rate limits apply; chat history is limited until you register.
• Registered: Password account with profile edit and support. Still rate-limited until Verified.
• Verified: Full member. PM, gifts, shop, likes, emoji, games, voting, news replies, and 2 coins per message. Auto-promoted after active chat, staff can verify early, or apply from the welcome modal. A one-time coin bonus is granted on verification.
• VIP: Everything Verified has, plus whispers, voice and video calls, media search, voice notes, image upload, paste in composer, stories, music, away status, and AfghanGPT (!ask). VIP is assigned by staff.
• Elite: VIP perks plus animated Elite badge, prestige profile glow, Enigma privacy mode, and delete your own messages. Buy a 30-day Elite pass from the shop (${ELITE_PASS_PRICE} gems) if you are VIP+ with an account at least 30 days old.
• Member of the Week (MOTW): Community-voted prestige rank for one week. Elite-tier perks plus the MOTW badge, invisible mode (hide from online list), and delete own messages.
• Legend: Top prestige rank with golden chat frame, crown sigil, profile glow, Enigma, and delete own messages. Unlock via a 30-day Legend pass (${LEGEND_PASS_PRICE} gems) from the shop, or staff assignment.

Your level is based on total qualifying coins spent, not your current wallet balance. Every level unlocks a named badge, from Newbie at the start to legendary titles like Shadow, Cool Kid, Star, and beyond.

• Level curve starts at 30 coins spent for level 1 and grows steeper as you climb.
• Qualifying spend: buying gem packs with coins and PVP game losses (30% of the loss counts toward level).
• Does NOT count toward level: gifts (gem spend), casino bets/wins, daily check-in, vault spins, quiz wins, message earnings, or gift receiver coins.
• Decorative avatar frames unlock above level 10.

• Chat messages: 2 coins per message (Registered and above).
• Daily check-in: streak rewards: 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 750 coins (day 8+ stays at 750 while your streak continues).
• Daily Vault spins: 2 spins per day; prizes include 50-500 coins and a 100 gem jackpot.
• Daily tasks master bonus: 20 gems when you claim every task in one day.
• QuizBot trivia: 50 / 100 / 150 coins by difficulty (1-3 stars) for the first correct answer each round.
• Receiving gifts: 35% of the gift's gem cost when you accept.
• Casino games: net wins on Slots, Flip, Dice, and Hi-Lo (Registered+).
• PVP duels: win 150 coins (entry 200 coins).
• Arena: prize share from the human player pot (200 coin entry).
• Member of the Week prizes: documented coin rewards for top 4 vote finishers when staff award them.

• Gem packs: Buy gems with coins in Shop → Gems. Coin cost varies by pack; larger packs often give better value.
• Gifts: Send from a user's mini profile with gems (price set per gift in the catalog). Combo up to 99 on classic gifts. Receiver earns 35% of the gem cost in coins.
• Shop chat styles: Nick style (6 gems), text color (5 gems), fonts (5 gems). Pro items from 40–55 gems. RGB nicks 45, glows 55, premium fonts 50.
• PM themes: 24 gems (standard) or 40 gems (premium). Switching between owned themes in a chat costs 1 gems.
• Elite pass: 299 gems for 30 days.
• Legend pass: 499 gems for 30 days.
• Voice call: 10 gems upfront, max 3 minutes, 3 calls per day (VIP+).
• Video call: 20 gems upfront, max 3 minutes, 2 calls per day (VIP+).
• Casino bets: 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 coins per round.
• PVP challenge: 200 coins entry; loser pays, winner earns 150.

Registered members and above can open the Daily Reward modal from the chat sidebar. It has two tabs: Check-in and Vault.

• Check-in: Claim once per UTC day. Your streak increases the reward through day 7, then caps at 750 coins.
• Vault: 2 spins per day. Your second spin unlocks 12 hours after the first (unless you win a FREE SPIN).
• Wheel prizes: FREE spin, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 500 coins, and a 100 gem jackpot.
• Daily tasks tab: complete chat, social, gift, and game goals for coin rewards. Claim every task in one day for a 20-gem master bonus.
• Jackpot wins are announced by Stalker in main chat.

Open Games from the chat sidebar (Registered+). Casino tabs and PVP bots live inside the games modal.

• Slots: Three reels (🍒 🪙 🎁 💎 🕌 7️⃣). Triple match pays cherry 2×, coin 3×, gift 5×, gem 8×, watan 15×, seven 25×. Two matching symbols pay 1.5× your bet.
• Flip: Pick heads or tails. Win pays 1.95× your bet.
• Dice: Two dice. Over/under pays 2×; rolling seven pays 5×.
• Hi-Lo: Guess higher or lower. Win pays 1.85× your bet.
• PVP duels: Open Games from the sidebar, pick a duel game, and challenge someone. Entry 200 coins; winner +150.
• Arena: Four-player mode with 200 coin entry; prizes split among human winners.
• QuizBot: Trivia questions every 12 minutes. Type !leaderboard or !lb for standings.

Open Leaderboard from the chat sidebar to see who leads the community across six categories.

• Wealthy: Most coins in wallet.
• Most Liked: Total likes received on messages.
• Active: Messages sent (tracked hourly, daily, and weekly).
• Gamers: PVP duel wins.
• Trivia Masters: QuizBot points.
• Most Gifted: Total gifts sent to others.

When a poll is open, Registered members can vote for one of four nominees. The winner becomes Member of the Week (MOTW) for the season.

• One vote per account each week. Your pick is locked once submitted.
• No cheating: multi-account voting, bots, or vote manipulation is not allowed.
• Staff may review suspicious activity and disqualify nominees if cheating is confirmed.
• Only registered members can vote when a poll is open.
• Wear the Member of the Week badge for one full week.
• Delete your own chat messages during your reign.
• Go invisible in the online list when you choose.
• Extra prestige perks may be announced by staff each season.
• Winner: 5,000 coins
• 2nd place: 2,000 coins
• 3rd place: 1,000 coins
• 4th place: 500 coins

Open Edit profile from the sidebar (Registered+). Tabs cover your public info, privacy toggles, ignored users, stories, and music.

• Bio: max 20 characters, single line (5 gems to change).
• About me: max 100 characters, up to 5 lines (5 gems to change).
• Nickname change: 100 gems (Registered+).
• Avatar: Registered+; max 3 MB (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF).
• Password: change anytime on a registered account (not guests).
• Privacy toggles: control who can PM, whisper, gift, call, invite you to parties, or challenge you to games.
• Away message: VIP+; max 50 characters. One change per hour. Stalker announces when you go away and when you're back.
• Enigma mode: Elite, MOTW, or Legend only. Hides your profile behind a cipher screen; others see ████ ENIGMA ████ unless it's their own profile.
• Invisible mode: MOTW and above. Removes you from the public online user list.

VIP members post stories from Edit profile → Stories. Active stories appear in the right sidebar story feed for 48 hours.

• Caption: max 80 characters.
• Media: image (JPEG, PNG, WebP ≤4 MB), video (MP4, WebM ≤20 MB), or audio (≤20 MB).
• Max 10 active stories at once; each expires after 48 hours.
• VIP story posts may trigger a Stalker announcement in main chat.

VIP members upload music from Edit profile → Music. Tracks play on your full profile page for visitors.

• Title and artist: max 20 characters each.
• Up to 20 tracks per user.
• File max 15 MB: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, or WebM.

Registered members can ignore up to 100 users. Ignoring is one-way; they won't know, but their main-chat messages disappear from your view.

• Add or remove from a user's mini profile, or manage the full list in Edit profile → Ignored.
• Ignored users can still PM, gift, and call. you simply won't see it (no alerts, no inbox thread).
• Their main-chat messages are hidden from your view only.
• You cannot ignore yourself.

VIP members can whisper. A message is visible only to you and the recipient inside main chat. Toggle whisper mode from a user's mini profile, then type your message.

• Recipients can disable whispers in Edit profile → Privacy.
• Whispers cannot be used while another whisper target is active in the composer.

• Voice notes: VIP+; record up to 90 seconds from the composer mic button.
• Image upload: VIP+; max 5 MB in chat (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF).
• Voice calls: VIP+; 10 gems, max 3 minutes, 3 per day.
• Video calls: VIP+; 20 gems, max 3 minutes, 2 per day.
• Media search: VIP+; search and share media from the composer.

Verified+ members open the Shop from the sidebar. Four sections: Gems (buy packs with coins), Premium (Elite and Legend passes), Chat style, and PM themes.

• Gems tab: Exchange coins for gem packs. Coin spent on packs counts toward your level. Limited-time sale packs may appear.
• Chat style: Bundles, nick style (6 gems), nick font (5 gems), text color (5 gems), text font (5 gems). Pro nick glows, RGB nicks, gradients, and premium fonts from 40–55 gems.
• PM themes: 24 gems (standard) or 40 gems (premium). Switching between owned themes in a chat costs 1 gem.
• Elite pass: 299 gems / 30 days. Requires VIP+ and account age 30+ days.
• Legend pass: 499 gems / 30 days. VIP+ can buy directly.
• Elite: Elite rank & chat badge. Animated stellar sigil beside your nick and a prismatic Elite chip in main chat.
• Elite: Prestige profile glow. Sky-indigo aura on mini profile and full Watan profile, plus an Elite tag beside your nick.
• Elite: Enigma mode. Unlock Enigma profile privacy while your pass is active.
• Elite: Delete your messages. Remove mistakes from main chat. a perk VIP alone does not include.
• Legend: Legend rank & chat badge. Animated crown sigil beside your nick and a golden Legend chip in main chat.
• Legend: Prestige profile glow. Amber-gold aura on mini profile and full Watan profile, plus a Legend tag beside your nick.
• Legend: Enigma mode. Hide your profile behind the Enigma screen while you hold Legend rank.
• Legend: Golden chat frame. Your messages use a subtle golden frame so you stand out in main chat.
• Passes can be gifted to eligible friends from the Premium tab.

Gems are Watan Chat's premium currency. Your gem balance shows in the sidebar and shop. Most social and cosmetic features spend gems; coins are used to buy gem packs and play games.

• Earn gems free: Daily Vault jackpot (100 gems), and the daily tasks master bonus (20 gems when every task is claimed).
• Buy gems: Shop → Gems tab. Spend coins on gem packs. Larger packs often give better coin-to-gem value.
• Spend gems on: gifts, chat styles, PM themes, Elite/Legend passes, voice/video calls, and profile edits (bio 5, about me 5, nick change 100).
• Level progress: buying gem packs with coins counts toward your level. Spending gems on gifts, styles, or passes does not.

Two special events can randomly spawn in main chat throughout the day. Stalker announces when they go live. Only one runs at a time.

• Speed Booster: Randomly spawns for 60 minutes. Double main-chat coins for everyone (2 → 4 per message; stacks with Hour Champ). A gold banner appears above chat while active.
• Watan Treasure box: Randomly spawns for 5 minutes. Verified+ members tap the gold banner to claim. Only 10 claims per chest, first come first served.
• Treasure box rewards: base 100 coins per claim. Claim multiple chests in one day to build a streak (100 / 120 / 150 / 250 coins). Miss a chest and your streak resets.
• Treasure pool: up to 1,000 coins shared across all claims in that event.
• Open the treasure banner to see live claim slots, your streak, and the all-time leaderboard.

AfghanGPT is Watan Chat's AI helper. VIP members and above can ask questions directly in main chat.

• Command: type ! then your question. Example: !Can you tell me a joke? (!ask still works too.)
• Answers are kept short, under about 180 characters.
• Inappropriate questions are filtered automatically.
• Only one AfghanGPT request runs at a time. Wait if it says it's busy.

Stalker is not a tool you control. It's a community observer bot that posts styled announcements in main chat.

• Announces joins, leaves, story posts, daily jackpot wins, Speed Booster, Treasure box, away/back status, and scheduled restarts.
• Command: !seen [nick]. Anyone can ask if a user is online or when they were last seen.
• Example: !seen Sara

These three prestige paths sit above VIP. Each adds visibility, privacy, and chat presence perks.

• Elite: Buy a 30-day pass or receive staff rank. Animated stellar sigil, prismatic Elite chip, prestige profile glow, Enigma mode, delete own messages.
• Member of the Week: Win the community vote. MOTW badge for the week, invisible mode, delete own messages, plus documented coin prizes for top finishers.
• Legend: Buy a 30-day pass (${LEGEND_PASS_PRICE} gems). Golden crown sigil, amber profile glow, golden chat message frame, Enigma, delete own messages.
• Enigma (Elite / MOTW / Legend): Profile shows cipher nick and special avatar; full profile hidden from others.
• Invisible (MOTW+): Toggle in Edit profile to vanish from the online list while still chatting.

• QuizBot: Auto trivia every 12 minutes. Answer in chat to win coins. !leaderboard or !lb for scores.
• GameBot: Announces PVP duel and arena results in main chat.
• Stalker: Community announcements and !seen lookups.
• AfghanGPT: AI Q&A with !ask (VIP+).
• Witch & Princess: Fun personality bots in the room.
